The map settngs for LT45 (and LT44)

Here you can compare the settings for LT45 and LT44. These are not carved into stone (yet) so if you really want, we can do some adjusting. The idea was to make the map a little different to what we had in LT44.

rulesetdir LT45

set alltemperate=disabled
set barbarians=disabled
set generator="FRACTAL"
set huts=1
set landmass=70
set mapsize="PLAYER"
set separatepoles=enabled
set specials=250
set startpos="ALL"
set steepness=30
set temperature=40
set tilesperplayer=450
set topology="WRAPX|WRAPY"
set wetness=30
set alltemperate=enabled

rulesetdir LT44

set alltemperate=disabled
set barbarians=disabled
set generator="FRACTAL"
set huts=1
set landmass=50
set mapsize="PLAYER"
set separatepoles=enabled
set specials=250
set startpos="ALL"
set steepness=40
set temperature=50
set tilesperplayer=450
set topology="WRAPX|WRAPY"
set wetness=60
set alltemperate=enabled

So alltemperate are enabled or disabled? Because I see both.
What about set huts = 5 to have bonus expected value 1 per team? With larger land mass it would be fun to find these. In case of 1 hut, once found, end of challenge.

I believe alltemperate would be enabled, since whatever happens last overrides the previous one.

Too dry. Deserts are killing the game, if I had less self-control, I’d throw them out completely.

Too much land. Less sea-land diversity gives less interesting strategy and turns the ame into an arm-wrestling contest.

Dry areas where not such issue during test game, due to larger amount of land. But I don't like this big land blob, hope that generator can make something more complicated?
Pity there is no "fractal diversity" settings or smth.

I also would like to see more islands and not one giant land mass. Forces the use of navies and make the game more dynamic. Not sure what setting(s) to change to allow for that.

I also see that steepness reduces from 40 to 30 in LT45. Does that setting impact how many mountains and hills there are? I think the mix of those in LT44 was just fine.
