LT32 Animated Map

I created the animated map below for LT32. I used the same color for nations from the same team and black for nations controlled by the AI.

This is some really cool stuff!

Thanks for doing that!

Team Det0r really pushed hard from the beginning. I knew they had huge areas but I didn't quite understand how huge. This also illustrates how quickly huge areas can be conquered once the front lines fall.

Does anyone know what would be the easiest way of checking that animation frame by frame?

Excellent animation!

Seems like:

Everybody kills White Team
Purple (and Green) kills Red Team
Purple team kills Blue team
Yellow team kills Purple team
Green team kills Yellow team

Staying out of the action continues to be a good strategy. Kryon - would you able to produce a plot of total land area for each team vs time for us?

It seems like the initial city placement process actually worked quite well (and seemed to be relatively fair)- and was quite fun. We should try doing it again for next team game (if any).

Thank you Kryon, that is great work!!

From this animation I get that the game took a different turn once
det0r's team invaded the Shriekers.  I did not get that feeling from
just playing the game.

Mrsynical. yes I can prepare a graph showing land area vs time for each team. I'll prepare it this weekend.

Wieder, you can get frames using IrfanView. Install it, save the GIF animation, open it with IrfanView, click Options>Extract All Frames

Our team had the worst starting locations. We were split into 4 separate locations and that made it really hard for us to survive. And as the team leader, I blame mostly myself for this smile

The white team - Kryon - was split in half by Pipo who volunteered to play a sacrificial role and be placed in an impossible situation. Pipo took the north end of the isthmus that separated the two halves of Kryon's team.  Pipo was isolated from our team but stood long enough to make sure the whites had no chance. Thanks Pipo.

Yes Pipo was a cancer for our team smile

I can see that there were many civil wars towards the end of the game.

- First the red team had 2 civil wars
- Then the purple team had 2 civil wars
- Then the Yellow team had 5 civil wars

I wonder whether the yellow team have a chance to win if civil war was disabled?

A graph of kills wouldn't help much if you used the whole game. The y-axis would be distorted by the huge number of kills by the green team in the last 5 turns. Perhaps 3 graphs of the early mid and late game. It is who was doing most of the fighting in the mid-game that I want to see.
